About Duncan TolmieDuncan ain't no Kansas City Cowboy! As a Kiwi bloke of American descent, it was a family trip to Nashville, Tennessee that caused country music to lasso his heart, taking him on a ride wilder than a horseback rodeo!
As well as presenting Duncan Tolmie's Country Countdown, Duncan has won several local and international radio awards, for involvement in various media organisations across New Zealand. In 2020 Duncan was a producer for a show that won a New York Festivals Radio Award - Bronze, which ranked the production alongside work from the BBC, CBS Radio, ESPN and other major radio networks across the globe. Duncan has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland, and a Master of Communication Studies with Honours (First Class) from Auckland University of Technology.
